My purpose in creating film and music is to promote the possibilities of the imagination through a lens of diverse cultural representation. As a filmmaker, I have found what motivates me to tell stories is the ability to take audiences on an emotional and many times thrilling adventure through my heartfelt storylines and captivating visuals. As an individual of African descent, I was raised in the tradition of art, music, and dance as a fundamental aspect of self-expression and community; therefore, I chose film and music as the platforms to share my cultural traditions with diverse audiences. I am now in a place where I have established my artistic voice through film projects and built a network of supporters who are passionate about uplifting my work and collaborating with me on future projects. Ultimately, my success as an artist depends on the support and investment from individuals, community groups, and organizations who believe in the vision I aspire to create. As I continue to evolve in my artistic endeavors, I hope to expand from the local film scene into regional markets where my work as a film producer and musician will draw the attention of industry leaders who may be interested in investing in my art on a grand scale.
